Hello, Tami:
First thing, STOP using the bombs. While it may kill some roaches, others will survive
and you will scatter them to other parts of the house. You didn't say if you live in an apartment or
a house, but if it's a single-family house, you CAN get rid of the roaches. If it's an apartment, it
will be harder, and you'll need the cooperation of your neighbors.
If it's an apartment, your
landlord is responsible for exterminating - contact him to send his exterminator out. Make sure he's
a REAL exterminator (no maintenance men) and that he uses BAIT - not a spray. The best bait is called
"MaxForce" - if he doesn't know about it, get another exterminator who does.
If you want to do
it yourself, and you are in a singe-family home, this is possible. From the grocery store buy, (in the
insecticide section) "Combat" - they come in little round "roach buttons" that you place in your kitchen
cabinets (or wherever you see the roaches) and make sure you change them after a month or so. Roaches
eat this stuff and DIE. It works very well. Don't use any other insecticides with this, no bombs, no
sprays. The bait does take awhile to work - a couple of weeks you should be seeing dead roaches. In
a month or two or three (depending on how bad it is) you can be rid of your roaches. Make sure you read
the directions on the box AND FOLLOW THEM.
There is a picture on our "roach" web page of the
roach buttons. There is also more detailed information for you on that page. Read that too! Address
is:

You also didn't say what part of
the country you live in, but if you want the name of a good exterminator in your area, let me know and
I will try to steer you to the right guy.
If you have any other questions, please let me know!
