I am concerned that a squirrel who was in the attic with other squirrels (we have successsefully trapped 2 but there are more) and ventured into the main house has gone into a walk-in closet and is hiding under clothes and stored things in the closet. My dog chased him into one room and the squirrel ran out to quickly to stop him but we did not see where. I thought it must have went back to the attic where is familiar since it came from the attic but now there is over-whelming evidence the thing is in my walk-in closet (i.e. dropping, a bag of walnut and pistachios were pried into and when we left a trap, the rotten animal managed to eat the peanut butter and a walnut from one edge of the trap, leaving some bait but not setting off the trap. I want to know how long it can last without water too! How long can this go on and am worried it will escape and roam around my house! How much larger is squirrel turd than mouse turd?
