Well, healthy, adult squirrels will probably chew their way out, if they haven't already...

As far as how long they can last without water, they're just like you and me - about 3-4 days and that's it. After 3 days they'll be so weak you can probably pick them up and carry them outside.

You need to trap these devils, if they DO get out, you're probably in for more attacks. Trap and put them down.
