Obviously, he's getting in and out. How many traps do you have? Two traps (of the same kind) might help. Leave both of them baited baited buy disabled, so they can go in and out. Leave no chum and change the bait. Use a little bread and peanut butter. DO NOT CHUM. You're going to have to use your brains on this.

You might also have to disguise the trap. Did you see that?
