You CAN use a bit of RV anti-freeze, you only need a cup or two in your storage box. And it is non-toxic in case you get a non-target animal drinking from it. Cheapest place is in the local Wal-Mart, the house brand is about $4 a gallon, brand name is a dollar more. Works well, I use it in my little RV.
