You warning of getting stuck on the roof reminded me that I had much the same thing happen to me.

I put a ladder up to a small porch roof, this was at least 25 years ago. The wind pushed it over, just like yours. Here I was, stuck on the roof, but we have radios in the trucks, and I (luckily) had brought up my walkie-talkie, I don't know why, normally wouldn't do that, too much equipment, but maybe I had this on my mind.

So I was able to radio the office, but everyone was MILES away, so the secretary at the time had to drive over and put the ladder up for me. She laughed and laughed, even said she wanted a raise before she did it. lol

And your post reminded me that I wanted to put a link up at the top for purchasing a trap. Thank you, sir!
