Hi--I posted before but now have a new squirrel problem. I have two questions. First, the problem is in my attic, and I'm just wondering how often to check my trap (a Havaheart 1040). If I check it too often, will the squirrels get scared and avoid the area where I've set the trap? Also, I live in a condo, and my theory is that the squirrels are entering my attic through the attic of another person's home. I think that the squirrels' home base is in the other attic and that they just come to my attic to forage. Does that happen in multi-unit dwellings? I hear them much less frequently than before, when they were actually based in my attic, so I can only assume that they're occasional visitors rather than residents.
