Thanks for the advice. I thought the "wildlife expert" who helped me made things sound too good/easy to be true. It's funny, though, that I only ever hear the squirrels between the first and second floors of the house (never in the attic). Is it possible that the squirrel(s) are nesting in the first floor ceiling and not in the attic? Also, is it possible that a lone younger squirrel has been left behind and can't find his way out through the one way door?
