I believe there are squirrels in my walls and basement ceiling. We hear scattering in the ceiling of the basement, even had liquid come down the side wall once and also some of the insulation has been brought into the ceiling when I removed a ceiling tile to view. There are pine cones in the ceiling as well. I noticed 2 squirrels outside our home on the gutters, when I went near them they ran inside of the soffett I think, as they disappeared somewhere into the gutter area. I bought a trap from HomeDepot, but haven't used it yet. Where should it be placed, and then what do I do with the squirrel once trapped? I read a few posts and all of your pages. I found the artile about installing a drip edge informative, and I think that will be the route to go, but how do I ensure all squirrels are out of my house before I trap them in? Thanks in advance for any help!
