I have at least 3 squirrels in spaces of my house not specifically in my attic but under an eave and empty spaces not accessible and leading to between ceiling and floor. Do I put the trap on the ground outside or on a low roof near where they access their areas. I spotted a baby this morning in the eave area - it stayed when the Mom went out.
