Thanks John...at 2 AM one walked 10 feet by me from one side of the attic and out the hole. I'm going to get a trap over there also. I have 5 so hopefully the "interlopers" will check out the bait. I've put one on the roof and wired it open with just a little peanut butter.

I found a baby monitor that I could run near the hole and have the receiver downstairs. Any idea what could be used to generate some noise for when they come in the hole that would not make them avoid it? I might not need them to get into the trap if they decide to "hang out" and be still for just a few seconds, if you catch my drift.
