Possums climb pretty good. Never though ground hogs were either agile or brave enough to climb a shelf in a garage. But I have to admit that not many days go by when I'm not surprised by what these animals do. To be able to survive under modern man's feet is an accomplishment, we kill just about anything else, either by design or mistake.
