Two squirrels chewed their way into my attic last october. It was a slow start, but here's the kill tally as of today:

Dec 10 -- 4
Feb 11 -- 1
Mar 11 -- 2
Jun 11 -- 4
Jul 11 -- 3
Aug 11 -- 8

...and august is only half way through. I can't keep the trap set fast enough.

Why is it so easy now, but the initial ones one not go near the trap? Seasonal, mating, new families?

It doesn't matter, but I'm gonna keep going as long as they're brave enough to get on my house/deck.
