I see postings re:squirrels in the attic which is somewhat expected. however I have one that is trying to get in thru the back door literally. Recently I have heard some noises outside that have sounded like scratching on metal, I thought it was the neighbors dog. today when I went to investigate there was a squirrel spread eagle in the middle of my screen door in the kitchen - completely freaked me out.

the squirrels here are agressive, they constantly dig up my flower boxes and beds, eat all of the pears and apples off of my trees and now are trying to get into the house.

I would like to get rid of them for good ie: poison. Is there a relatively safe and surefire method?
