Oh no! This is not the answer I was hoping for! The sofa is the good sofa in our living room, not in an outbuilding. The chipmunk was in it for a week without making so much as a chip after the first time we heard it. There is no visible damage to the couch, no stains, no poop was found, or traces of food either. Just a sour smell. I really don't want to ditch it if there's something, anything, that could be tried.
