Hello, I’ve got squirrels between the roof and the walls (there is no attic for me to crawl around in without tearing off the roof or the walls! I found the hole which is a rotten board under the flashing. It shouldn’t be hard to replace once I get the buggers out. Question 1: Since its late February, can I assume that there are babies which may not be able to get out on their own? In which case, should I wait until mid or late March? On the other hand, they made more noise last month and I haven’t heard anything for a couple weeks. Question 2: In this situation, a spring loaded one-way door sounds pretty easy to setup. How long should it take? a week? more? Question 3: Gross warning – under where the squirrels are getting in, I found what looks like some dried mold on the plaster wall. It has a yellowish tint. Could that be what I think it is?
