Think about it... Squirrels patrol their territory (if they can) every day. They check everything out. So when you create these little "islands" of interest, they'll check it all out. Make a couple of "trash piles." Put a trap under each one, disabled and baited. Sprinkle some birdseed around.

WAIT!

Once they take the bait? You can get them. Take your time, use you head and have patience.
