Yeah, some squirrels are kinda "anxious.." Some are completely the opposite.

Don't forget - don't chum ALL the time.... Just SOME of the time. It's a psychology thing. When you reward somebody ALL the time, for, say, pulling a lever, he gets tired of it. If you reward only PART of the time, you get more action. Ever been to the slots....? Same thing works on people and squirrels.

Do it other ways too. If you're using a mat for your trap, or a piece of wood to set it on, put that out, no trap. Watch 'em sniff around investigate. Then put the trap out, open disabled, no chum, no bait. Then change that around too. Keep 'em interested and looking.
