I caught my first squirrel but now they seem to have caught onto how the trap works.

Instead of going inside the trap , they will grab any food they can by reaching into the trap from outside. They stick their arms through the trap's holes and grab what they want.

They even learned how to trip the trap from the outside. These squirrels are smart, what do I do to start trapping again? Thank you.
