I have squirrels entering through a roof vent. The vent is a long way from the attic person entry and the attic is difficult to crawl in. I would like to close this roof vent and take out a soffit vent that is located closer to the attic entry so that the trap will be more accessible for me. Will the squirrels naturally find the new hole I provide them or will they chew a hole near their existing entry?
