Several more days, no trapped squirrels. But no squirrels back in the house. Yet.

I keep the traps in during the night. This morning, I heard a squirrel running around on the back deck near the vinyl siding chimney. I peeked out the window, and he looked at me from a table on the deck. I went out to set up the traps, and he was up on the chimney screen cover. They really can scale walls/siding and/or jump high. He scampered down and up a tree where I suspect he lives. I placed both traps at the base of the tree, but I've had them there before with no luck.

I'll keep trying.
