Purchased gable vents to install, they're made of plastic-vinyl with very small holes and backed with nylon mesh. Are they squirrell-proof or should I return them. I had squirrels in my attic last winter and fixed that problem with your advice. I also need to add soffit vents, they're made of alum. or metal with nylon mesh. Are those safe to use?
