Thanks.

We did initially catch some squirrels.

Using the instructions on this site we have caught 5 more. But I have some that still remain elusive. I see them taking the chum but refusing to enter the cage.

So they know the traps are there. I will wait a week or 2 and if no luck try something else.

I have a corner house. On some of the through streets in my neighborhood they are doing utility improvement projects using stimulus money.

The houses in my neighborhood were built during WWII and many have multiple 50-100 foot trees.

In doing the utility improvements they decided to cut down all the trees on the curbside for about 20 blocks. On the 2 blocks surrounding me at least 12 100 foot trees were cut down. Really a shame because when they broke up the street many of the areas where the trees were located required no work.

So ... the displaced squirrels are all trying to find new homes and new feeding grounds. We are over run by them on my property.
