I'm a city girl just temporarily moved out to the country. The house we rented is very well protected yet we found ourselves w/a family of squirrels (probably here when we moved in). The maintenance man found the entrance while the mother squirrel was outside and sealed it. Then, she went crazy even going so far as to jump at my cat outside the door/window! That's when we heard, all the peeps. Her babies were still inside! The 1st two were caught easily in the Havahart; there was still 1 left & the trap was'nt trippin correctly. Using your advice we shined a flashlight on the trap & the final squirrel went right inside so we had to trip it from above. They have happily been reunited. Thanks very much for your advice.
