Hi folks, we live in a nice neighborhood and love feeding our feathered friends, Bluebirds, Cardinals, Humming birds, etc. HOWEVER, we really want/need to get these frigging tree rats to move somewhere else! In fact, I have just ordered a no-kill trap that should be here soon. Trying to be a good steward of the planet tho, I realize that we have several young squirrels that are dining on our bird food currently.
If we relocate whatever gets in the cage first will things go well for them if they they are on their own for a day or two?
Also, will the little buggers know their way home?
How far do I need to take them away so they won't come back?
