The live traps getting robbed nightly probably qualifies as chumming. I'll get some lethal traps and start switching them out w/ the live traps.

Incidentally, do live traps often have trouble catching flying squirrels? In an earlier string I saw mention of using a mouse trap to trigger a live trap. That is an interesting thought.

Finally, a couple of [I think] flying squirrels have taken residence in a part of our attic I can't get access to. Would I put a live trap out on the roof...?
