I'm using a trap (Havahart) that my neighbor had success with last year. He has another trap but he said it's harder to trigger so I'm guessing that is for larger squirrels and the flying squirrels may not necessarily trigger it and just get the bait!

What time would you recommend beginning my adventure? I'm up early in the morning anyway from 3:00 on because of the lovely activity in my attic.
