I hope someone can help. I have what looks to be a squirl or squirls in my soffit / ceiling. My house is a cape with a large dormer that forms a bedroom. I have no attic to speak of or at least no way of looking above the 2nd floor sheet rock ceiling. I have found "rub marks" where the soffit meets my roof on one side of the dormer. I have heard scratching at 4 - 5 am on boths sides of the dormer. The last few days have been warm and the dormers have been quiet. I have had a 1030 trap set on an adjacent patio roof for the last two days with no luck. I also have a web cam setup into a dvr to catch any movement up there. I haven't seen or heard anything in the last two days. Am I wishfully thinking that the little monsters have stayed at their summer tree home due to the overly warm soffit? If so should I take aim at the soffit to squirl proof it now? Lastly can anyone recommend a squirl savy carpenter in the southern NJ area (08084).

Thanks
