After successfully convincing my husband to use rat traps for our little red squirrel infestation, he was on the balcony 'reloading' the trap that 'misfired'. Lo and behold, a little squirrel was on the roof directly above him, watching with interest what was going on. Suddenly, my husband was pelted in the head with a black walnut and what sounded like laughter coming from the roof above his head. (After I stopped laughing, I realized we had a larger problem than we had thought.) Now it's war, but so far no casualties on the red squirrel front. Any suggestions?
