HELP ME PLEASE!! I heard a squirrel (not a given but pretty sure as I found two dead in a closet early summer) in my basement ceiling. Some days later I did not hear it so thought he returned to his real home outside. NOT. It died up there and it smells. My son looked up in the vent with a mirror, ladder and the like and nothing could be found. I know something is dead there as the smell is coming through the vent.

At 4am I awakened to the sound of a squirrel in ceiling in my bedroom on the main floor (bungalow). This is another squirrel I know that there is a dead one in the basement.

What the heck am I to do. I am so upset. The house is 13 years old. Please help.
