Hi...I'm in my 3rd week of having squirrels damage my new composite deck, Japanese Maple tree...(destroyed my new wicker chair). I have been trapping the squirrels, but suddenly they seem so smart they won't have anything to do with going inside the trap now, though I'm baiting the traps with peanut butter and peanuts. Someone just told me to get CORN COB FEEDERS and hang them in the maple, and oak, trees and they'll feed on the corn cobs and will leave my deck and furniture alone? How do you feel about the Corn Cob Feeders to help rid the squirrels from deck/furniture damage? I will really appreciate your answer to this on-going squirrel problem I have.
